System Analysis & Needs Assessment

Intec provides consulting services including surveying and evaluating the customer's existing communication systems, market and technology research to identify solutions to the customer's unique needs, preparation of reports detailing the existing status, strengths and weakness of the existing systems, options available, detailed business and financial analysis, and a recommended strategic plan to improve the customer's business position.

System Design/CAD/Documentation

Based upon the results of the consulting services, Intec will perform a detailed engineering design including design documents to be used in the procurement, construction, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of the customer's telecommunication systems. These documents may include CAD drawings, bill of materials, spreadsheets, standards, installation and construction practices and operation practices.

Project Management

Project Management services begin with the preparation of a plan that identifies and formalizes the project resources, responsibilities, flow, and milestones. A detailed project schedule is then developed providing PERT and Gantt reports. Intec will then manage the implementation of the project utilizing the plan and project management system to track and control all resources including manpower, equipment, and materials. Intec will facilitate project meetings and provide project status reports.

Specification & Proposal Development

Specification & Proposal preparation and evaluation includes the preparation of technical and contractual specifications required to form a legal contract which will provide the customer the telecommunications services and systems meeting the technical and business needs as detailed in the specifications. Intec will also participate in the evaluation of the submitted bids and provide a recommendation for award.

Design Build Contracting

Design Build Contracting services provide the customer with a "turn-key" project. Intec will take the project from the approved customer’s requirements, project manage the design, construction, installation, testing, and acceptance of the system.

Power, Grounding & Protection

Intec maintains a staff of electrical engineers that have years of experience in design, installation, testing power, grounding, and protection of computer and communication systems; including areas with high volumes of lightning strikes, strong electromagnetic sources, and large fault current sources. Intec personnel will test your system to help ensure proper operation and protection before problems occur and can test and correct systems that are experiencing problems.
